Notifications to Clients

Client SMS Notifications can be activated in Settings / Notifications / Client Notifications. By activating SMS Messages, clients will be sent the following appointment notification text messages

  • Confirmation
  • Cancellation
  • Changed
  • Reminder

Up to 3 reminders can be set to months, days or hours ahead. Note: The reminder timing is the same and shared for email and SMS messages, meaning that if you set the reminder for 2 days before an appointment, an email and SMS reminder will be sent.

The mobile phone number must include the area code, but do NOT include the country code. IMPORTANT: SMS is limited to sending to the same country code as your business.

Clients have the ultimate choice whether to receive SMS appointment notifications, which they can choose in their online profile. If a client chooses not to receive SMS notifications, a warning will appear in their client record and appointment details.

All accounts include up to 500 SMS messages for free, additional messages are $0.02/SMS. There must be a valid credit card on file under Account > Business Account Billing > Credit Card to activate SMS messaging.
